[Description]

Orion HYDROFILM AFFF concentrates have been developed in Australia and are manufactured locally. In the development of HYDROFILM we have attempted to produce a product which is comparable in fire test performance with good quality products imported from the USA and Europe. Laboratory tests indicate that HYDROFILM compares well with these products. HYDROFILM shows excellent tolerance to hard or salt water.

[Environment]

HYDROFILM is biodegradable and has low toxicity.

[Storage]

When stored in sealed containers or correctly designed storage tanks, HYDROFILM will remain useable for at least 10 years.

[Recommended Usage]

HYDROFILM is available as a 1%, 3% or 6% concentrate. HYDROFILM 1% is proportioned at a rate of 1 part in 99 parts water, HYDROFILM 3% is proportioned at a rate of 3 parts in 97 parts water, while HYDROFILM 6% is proportioned at the rate of 6 parts to 94 parts water.

HYDROFILM is an effective fire extinguishing agent for fires involving flammable liquids such as petrol, kerosene, diesel and oils. When proportioned with water at the recommended rate, the foam solution should be applied to the fire at a minimum rate of 4 litres per minute per square meter of fuel area.

HYDROFILM is NOT suitable for application to flammable liquids that are water soluble, such as alcohol & ketones
