Training Foam (3)
(40k PDF)

[Description]

Orion training foam concentrate is designed for low cost and to allow repeated use of a fire tray without long delays. The foam produced is similar in appearance to AFFF but not as efficient at fire extinguishment, nor is it long lasting. Superior fire fighting performance can be obtained by adding one cup of 6% AFFF to a drum of training foam without losing the ability to immediately relight the fire.

[Environment]

Training foam is biodegradable and has low toxicity. It contains no phosphates, is free from ethylene glycol solvents and fluorochemicals.

[Recommended Usage]

This training foam is designed to be used at a concentration of 0.3 to 0.5 percent in water to produce reasonable foam. It is recommended that the training foam be diluted before use.

1 litres of training foam concentrate when mixed with 19 litres of water will simulate a 6% AFFF.
