FFM-Series foam makers are used to generate foam for the protection of floating roof tanks when it is applied from the top of the tank. The FFM series foam makers can be used with a wind break, for direct application to the seal area or can be used with our FR-50 tank rim foam pourers.

The FFM-50 & FFM-65 foam makers are manufactured from brass or bronze with stainless steel orifice plate and strainer. The FFM-50 unit has 50mm BSP Female inlet and outlet threads while the FFM-65 unit has 65mm BSP Female inlet and outlet threads. Flow rates are set by the orifice plate. A range of orifice sizes are available.

For optimum foam properties the FFM units must have a minimum of 300mm, and a maximum of 600mm of the same NB pipe and one 90° elbow fitted to the discharge side as illustrated.
